Pillar appoints IT executive general manager
Superannuation administration provider Pillar has named a new executive general manager of information technology.
Kathryn Hawkins will be responsible for driving business development through innovation and working with the firm's software integration partners.
Commenting on her appointment, Ms Hawkins said: "Innovation can lead to a business model that is often leaner, smarter and more focused on resolving exceptions rather than pure transactional processing."
"I am particularly excited to put into play my experience with one of Australia's most experienced superannuation administrators," said Ms Hawkins.
Pillar chief executive and managing director Peter Brook said: "Kathryn has a fantastic track record in understanding how IT supports business transformation projects, as well as positioning IT as an ongoing agent of change.
"Further, Kathryn understands how technology innovation can benefit both operational efficiencies and commercial results.
"I firmly believe that her expertise in IT and operational transformation will support Pillar's strategic development in coming years," Mr Brook said.
Ms Hawkins has previously served as chief information officer at ME Bank and Masonic Homes.
